There should be a maximum number of convictions that someone should be able to get after reaching adult age before they are no longer just given "one more chance". Reading stories about people that have 50 previous convictions and getting one more chance or 6 months is a waste of time. By that time they need either massive sentences to get them off the street or a last chance to prove themselves and do something positive for society, no more easy chances.
