National holidays in Britain are rememberance to the Christian values on which this nation was formed, the very values that allow other faiths to practice their religion freely. Many adherents of the worlds religions reside in Great Britain, for example the Sikhs whom have made an incredible contribution to the prosperity of this nation. To consider creating national holidays for all of these religions is both impractical and unnecessary.
