Abortions are currently illegal in Northern Ireland and getting an abortion in Britain is, not only not covered by the NHS but, would also result in arrest once the person getting the abortion returns to Northern Ireland. (as an abortion, over here, is a crime under the Offences against the Person Act 1861)
