We are asked to vote for MEPs, but no one knows who their MEP is or what they do on our behalf. We have the excellent website 'theyworkforyou.com' that you can set up to notify you whenever your MP speaks in the House of Commons.
It is time that this government ensures that MEPs are equally accountable to us, their electorate.
Strangely I cannot find a Government department that deals with the EU.
More transparency is required if you expect us to take an interest
