The last available Oberon Class Submarine is moored in the Gare Loch destined to be scrapped. Inverclyde Council have dismissed pleas from interested parties to save it. HMS Onyx is identical to the many submarines built by Scott's over the years. The purpose of this petition is persuade Inverclyde Council to save the submarine and place it in Scott's Drydock to remind future generations of the great heritage of shipbuilding on the Lower reaches of the Clyde.
