The Government should create a specific criminal offence to teach a child to hate or harm people of a different religion or race to their own. We believe such indoctrination or attempted indoctrination is ‘child abuse’ and neglect.

Because there is no specific criminal offence for teaching a child religious or race hatred or harm, we believe that some children are indoctrinated to hate other religions and races that are different to their own. We believe that the teaching of children to hate or harm someone because of their religion or race is practised assertively in some communities in the UK, as it is not explicitly covered under a specific criminal offence. It should be.
