Rejected petition Allow More Time for GCSE English Language

Currently, when doing the GCSE English Language Paper, you get 2 hrs to answer all the questions and complete the paper.

However, I believe that one should be allowed more time to do the paper.

The GCSE English Language is meant to grade how well you interpret a piece of long prose writing and how well you write.

I feel however, that this purpose is being put aside and rather it has become a competition of how fast you can read and write.

Therefore, I want to the government to increase the time allowed in a GCSE English Language Paper to at least 2 hours and 30 minutes.
