Rejected petition Review the new Immigration Rules and decrease the minimum salary requirement!

The Government cannot justify more than doubling the Minimum Salary Requirement for the Family Visa route from £18,600 to £38,700. The great British values promote life as a family unit and this clearly doesn’t help those on lower incomes who have spouses from other countries.

What would happen to all the people who have planned on getting abroad in the next few years, and then living with their spouses in the UK as British Citizens or Settled Persons especially those in lower incomes?
The government wants to reduce overall migration but this is not fair especially for those who are following the laws of this once great country and doing everything by the book!
If this is allowed to continue to happen, if will deeply affect Mental Health and depression overall!
