Closed Terminate parental rights from parents found to have abused children

If a parent is found by a court to have committed any form of abuse towards their child, we want their parental rights to immediately be removed from them.

I think that when abuse has been confirmed by a court, the abusive parent should no longer be able to exercise any parental rights over their child. I think that this will prevent parents continuing to disrupt their children's lives and help children to overcome previous abuse. It is not fair the parent looking after the children has to request permission for things relating to the child from the parent found guilty of abuse.
