We petition the government to abolish business rates on fibre optic cabling. Otherwise known as the 'fibre tax' this additional stealth tax on investment is causing delays in bringing hyperfast nextgen connections to the UK.

We demand the government abolish the tax completely on fibre, or apply it in such a way which permits smaller companies (sub £2m per annum turnover) to be exempt.
