Closed Review the HMRC Approved Mileage Payment Allowance

The HMRC Approved Mileage Payment Allowance for the use of private vehicles is very out of date, having been set in 2011. This means some companies are effectively being subsidised by their employees, as and the true cost of operating vehicles is often much higher than these rates.

Many employees are not obtaining the true value of costs for running their own vehicles for work purposes.
