The loutish behaviour of individuals, shown on all the media reports, including football hooliganism, excessive drinking and anti-social behaviour, requires severe punishment to prevent re-occurence.
To that end, I feel strongly that, were the above form of corporal punishment be re-introduced, then the occurence of these crimes would be somewhat reduced.
Why was this petition rejected?
