Closed Pause Smart Meter roll out and hold a Public Inquiry into the issues and costs

We want the Government to pause the roll out of Smart Meters and hold a Public Inquiry to:

1) investigate the Smart Meter manufacturers', installers' and maintainers' profits
2) determine the extent of Smart Meter faults and complaints
3) determine if Smart Meters are 'fit for purpose'

I want an independent inquiry to determine if the Smart Meter project remains viable, and for it to be halted if not. We believe there's increasing evidence that Smart Meters are proving unfit for purpose. 1) Millions are reportedly failing. 2) Millions more smart meters risk becoming 'dumb' when the 3G network is closed down. 3) Who profits from the supply and how much?
