Rejected petition Government Ministers should be suitably qualified for role

Staff recruited to take on a senior role in any business need to be suitably qualified and have vast experience of the roles and responsibilities they are taking on. Government Secretaries, ie Secretary for Health etc appointed by the government are given the job without having any experience, inside knowledge or particular interest in their subject. Ministers should have relevant, up to date and hands on knowledge of the job they are employed to do.
