It increases the numbers of individuals who turnout to vote.
This is because voters are confident that they are truly voting for something real and that their votes truly count and are valued.

Protecting the voting system from time wasting recounts and hoaxters is common sense and cost effective.
Individuals can still vote the old way simultaneously as a backup at no extra cost.
