We call upon the Government to abandon plans to replace the free-flowing Preston Boats roundabout on the A5/A49 in Shrewsbury with a congestion causing, traffic light controlled junction. The Government's proposals will cause problems for commuters, holiday makers, businesses and local people by increasing journey times and raising the risk of accidents.
