Petition Chargeable NHS treatment for self inflicted illness

Simply pass a law that if a person requires NHS treatment for a self inflicted illness or injury like drug abuse, smoking, obesity, alcohol, even sporting injuries then they should be expected to pay for their treatment. Only exclusion would be people suffering from mental health problems. Furthermore convicted dangerous drivers who cause accidents should be made to pay for the treatment of those they harm. Likewise criminals.

NHS treatment should only be free to people who live their lives responsibly and try to stay healthy. E.g. moderate drinkers, sensible eaters, non smokers etc...
