Petition Equalise School Attendence Regulations

All state, non-maintained state schools (including Free Schools and Academies) and independent fee paying (including public) schools in England to be required to operate under the same regulations of The Education (Pupil Registration) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 Statutory Instrument. Rules for attendance should be equalised in all schools with independent schools being subject to the same penalty notice sanctions applicable to state schools. The application of these regulations to only state maintained schools is discriminatory and should apply to all schools regardless of funding status.
