Petition Do NOT ban the use of E-cigarettes
More details
I am a none-smoker and also a none-e-cigarette user.
I strongly agreed with the banning of the smoking of cigarettes in public places, indeed I firmly believe that greater pressure should be applied to cigarette smokers to quit.
The creation of vaping has produced a real alternative to smoking.
Vaping critics suggest that there are health hazards but they are unable to offer any detail to support their claims.
The suggestion that Vaping should be banned is preposterous and must not be implemented.
Regulation on e-cigarettes should extend only as far as:
1.There should be age restrictions for buying and possessing the e-cigarettes and the nicotine liquids
2. Advertising of e-cigarettes should be banned.
3. There should an accreditation process for suppliers of the nicotine liquids to protect people from bogus or contaminated liquids.
4. E-cigarettes are not seen as an opportunity for the government to create a tax stream as this will deter smokers from moving to vaping.
