The Responsible Gambling Trust is not fulfilling its remit to provide and distribute adequate funding - as an example, it provided less than £2,500 towards gambling prevention in 2013.

75% of UK licensed gambling operators do not contribute ANYTHING to gambling Research, Education or Treatment.

We urge the Secretary of State, Sajid Javid, to impose a statutory levy that is already provided for in Section 123 of the Gambling Act 2005 (there is provision also under Schedule 3 to the Act, for the National Lottery to be made subject to levy requirements)
