BACKGROUND

Any person travelling on the trains who loses their ticket will be faced with a massive penalty and will have to buy a replacement ticket.

Any person who loses a weekly season ticket will not get a replacement and will have to purchase a new one.

Any person who loses a monthly or annual season ticket more than once in a year will not be entitled to a replacement.

PETITION

All train operators should be compelled to make e-tickets available for all train journeys.

Until such time as this is in place, all train operators should be compelled to exercise "a reasonable" attitude with lost tickets and where Passenger Focus finds that they were not reasonable, the customer should be entitled to compensation from the train operator
