We are concerned Hastings Borough Council are not caring for the local Biota as should be and particularly the appointed Arborlogist .. C. Wilken .. is unfit for the purpose of protecting the Boroughs Tree and Shrub stock, which has suffered a sharp reduction/decline during his appointment. We seek an immediate review of his position, and his replacement with a competent person who places the interests of our valuable Trees and Shrubs above the commercial interests of developers and private individuals removing trees and shrubs for commercial gain.
