We need more awareness for postnatal depression and the effects this illness has on the whole family. We are now getting research that over 1 million families will suffering this illness over the next 10 years in the UK alone. This illness effects millions around the world each year and families are breaking up due to this illness. Mother and baby units are closing and due to the lack of support families have no place to turn for help.
