Tunstall Court was a magnificent Edwardian mansion that has been used over the years as a number of educational establishments. It has been allowed to fall into ruin at the hands of vandals over a number of years whilst property developers wait for it to be deemed beyond repair. This has now happened and executive houses will now be built on the plot.
A large wildlife area will also be destroyed in the building of the houses, some 90 trees.
A tragedy for the history of the town.
