That the Government considers taking steps to re-form the Police Service of England and Wales to take effect from 1st January 2020 or an earlier date if possible, so that the Police Service once again becomes an effective organisation in fighting all crime and protecting society rather than becoming a service that administers reports of crime, and regains the full confidence of society that the service has the highest standards of integrity and effectiveness.
