Rejected petition Treasury to play fair and comply with tribunal order to act justly
More details
A judge-led tribunal has found that it would be just for HM Treasury to re-engage an employee who was unfairly dismissed, and ordered HM Treasury to do so. HM Treasury's most senior official has stated that the department will not comply.
We ask, in the interests of fair play and consistent with policy to respect and uphold the law, that the Government ensure that Her Majesty's Treasury comply with the tribunal's order (with the variation that since the date by which HM Treasury was ordered to act has passed, it additionally restore to the employee all rights and benefits foregone and costs incurred as a result of this delay).
