Mr Andy Coulson, former Conservative Party communications director and Director of Communications for the Prime Minister, was appointed by the Prime Minister over the objections of his staff, colleagues and other journalists.

Having failed to heed these objections and warnings, we, the voters of the United Kingdom, as employers of David Cameron as Prime Minister, seek the Prime Minister's resignation as we have lost confidence in his judgment.
