Rejected petition bike theft edinburgh

we would like to see a more positive effort from the Scottish police force towards controlling and hopefully eradicating the current epidemic of motorcycle theft rife in the lothians area when bike thieves are publicly showing pictures of themselves on stolen bikes online why is nothing being done? peoples property and public safety are huge factors here and it must be addressed I wish to see a positive plan in place to combat these individuals and see proper convictions, at the moment there is no interest and from experience I have seen the police response being nothing more than watching the criminals on stolen property committing numerous traffic offences and breaking many other laws and taking no action what so ever to actually stop or apprehend those responsible! it has gone to far and its high time something was done!
