There is no provision in employment law to prevent employers giving no notice for applicants to attend an interview and this does not take into account current employment commitments or personal commitments.

To provide in Employment Law a minimum period of notice from the time of notification to interview for job of 7 calendar days.

To provide in Employment Law alternative interview dates within a 7 calendar day period of the initial interview date.
