Petition Extra 1% in National Insurance be paid by everyone over the age of 16

If you have to be cared for in your old age I suggest that we all pay an extra 1% in National Insurance and that 1% be restricted to going into a pot so that when the time comes we would all be looked after by the NHS in a State run nursing home. It would mean that nobody then would have to sell their house. All that they may have to be paid is Inheritance Tax if they left over a certain amount
