MP's remuneration packages should be in a salary range decided on and reviewed by a public panel. Each MP starting at the bottom of the scale, when elected. They should be yearly appraised by another panel of their own constituents to judge if they have performed well enough to justify moving up the salary range.
The public making up these review panels could be picked in the same way jury panels are selected and allowed approx. 2 weeks to complete their reviews each year.
