Plans to close the Institute for Learning be prevented until true equivalent profesional designations exist in the accepting organisation. Designations MIfl, FIfL must be retained unless and until true equivalent designations are available at which point existing Members and Fellows must be transferred directly and free of charge or other burden (including form filling) to the new postnominal designations.
