Petition Offer Better Opportunities for Graduate Job-Seekers!

More details

Too many graduates today are being denied the rights to attend a job interview after applying with their CV, and are either met with the generic 'You have been unsuccessful at this time' or are not given any response at all.

Many people apply for jobs with all the relevant experience and 'people skills', but are still turned away before they even have the opportunity to present their case or meet the interviewer. It is impossible to base somebody's suitability to a role without meeting them first. Experience isn't everything these days!

In this day and age, we have so many options for interviewing potential candidates. What about a Skype interview? It's free, quick and easy. Or how about a test for the candidate? This would at least show their ability to produce work for the company in question. We need more alterntive methods of interviews because there are too many people being knocked back for reasons that all tie up into the 'experience' umbrella.
