The Government should revoke the appointment of Dame Butler-Sloss as head of the Inquiry into child abuse, because, as the sister of Michael Havers ( the Attorney General at the time of the scandal ), and also as a parliamentarian, public perception would be that the inquiry is tainted and lacks impartiality.
