The annual pension increases of MP & Civil Servant benefits should be limited to the current CPI rate as given on the second month prior to a rate increse ie pension increase to be paid in April based on the CPI rate as of February.

As the electorate are expected to have their pension increases calculated against the CPI & not the RPI, this would be a fair measure & would also make a saving for the taxpayer.
