The BBC, by withdrawing resources from Melvs IOT newsletter, is making savings, but depriving the nation of its weekly read about Lord B's jaunts around London and lunches with his pals.

The Government absolutely must intervene to stop this nonsense, by introducing legislation to force the BBC to reinstate this funding, or if this is not possible allocate money in the next Budget to address the shortfall.
