UK Visas and Immigration department has outsourced the administration of UK visa applications to an Indian company called VFS Global that provide a fourth rate service and employ fourth rate staff. Expatriates can now apply for their spouses UK visas online and pay for them online but the submission of the application plus supporting documentation has to be done through a VFS office in the country where the applicant is domiciled. VFS are not capable of organising effective procedures for what should be a simple step causing unnecessary stress and frustration.
