The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and its implementing bodies (The Court of Human Rights and Council of Europe) have played vital parts in protecting rights in our country, our continent and globally for over half a century.
It remains important in our modern state and world.
We believe Britain should back the Convention, continue to participate positively and resist calls to opt out.
