The loss of the MH17 flight is a horrific tragedy and its perpetrators, whoever they may be, should be brought to justice.

However, we must not allow the rhetoric that is currently being bandied about encourage this tense and fraught situation escalate into a wider conflict.

Under no circumstances should the British government, the EU, the USA and NATO enter into any military conflict against the Nuclear power Russia, either directly or indirectly in Ukraine or elsewhere.

Please do not bring the UK and the world into peril. Resolve this crisis peacefully.
