This petition was submitted during the 2010-2015 parliament
Petition Request to analyse the data relating to Armed Forces before it is broadcasted by News Broadcasting Companies (NBC’s)
More details
I request the Government to inform all NBC’s to employ Armed Forces officer/s &/or other ranks (both irrespective of wing's) retired / in service ( iff its possible / allowed by the Armed Forces HQ) to analyse and ensure that the data broadcasted by the NBC’s doesn't have any impact on the Armed Forces strategy / progress / pose risk to the lives of the Armed Forces personnel involved in the mission / operation / patrol. By employing officer/s &/or other ranks from the Armed Forces, it will enable the Armed Forces to carry out its mission / operation / patrol safely with minimal risk to Armed Forces personnel involved in it. The employed staff has to report the retrieved data from NBC’s to the relevant Armed Forces HQ for further analysis before it is broadcasted by NBC’s and this could also be done to other data relating to the Armed Forces as well. I request the Government to consider this petition so as to ensure that the Data Protection Act for Armed Forces is complied at all times
