This is a petition to the government to have the England national football team boycott the FIFA World Cup competition in Qatar, 2022, in protest of the ongoing abuse of human rights to the migrant workers in Qatar.
Over 1200 workers are reported to have died thus far whilst working on construction projects related to the 2022 World Cup, and it is estimated that over 4000 will die by the event itself in 2022.
England's willing participation in the 2022 World Cup will make all involved with the England football team complicit in the human rights violations that are happening.
All signatories of this petition are opposed to this complicity.
