It is estimated that 7 million tonnes of food is wasted every year in the UK. This could be reduced by making restaurants give food to the homeless instead of throwing it away. We would like the government to make restaurants responsible for giving a percentage of their food to the homeless instead of throwing it away and adding to the amount of food wasted in the UK
