Rejected petition Refer Rolf Harris' case to the Court of Appeal
More details
The sentence given to Rolf Harris for his 12 counts of indecent assault is very unduly lenient and creates a mockery of the British justice system. The Attorney General should again look over this case and refer it to the Court of Appeal for unduly leniency.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
Sentences that appear to be unduly lenient cannot be referred through the E-Petitions website. If you believe a sentence given in a Crown Court appears to be very low, or unduly lenient, anyone can contact the Attorney General's office asking for the sentence to be reviewed as long as it is within 28 days of sentencing. It also only takes one person to make such a request.
In the case of Rolf Harris, the Attorney General has already reviewed and decided not to refer the case to the Court of Appeal.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
