BT are not scheduled to upgrade any of the exchanges or cabinets servicing Service Families or Single Service Accommodation. This is a clear breach of the Armed Forces Covenant to provide Service personnel with services commensurate with their civilian counterparts.
The Government should consult with BT Openreach and other providers and ensure that funding and plans are established so that all Service accommodation and New Builds where SFA is planned are upgraded to 21CN FTTC broadband by Apr 2018.
