Closed Driver CPC is an unjust tax on drivers

The Driver CPC is a totally unjust tax on HGV Drivers. We as a profession feel that the government does not value us for the essential service we perform. Instead of this, we are viewed as a revenue generator who has to constantly pour money into keeping our right to work. There are so many professional, old school drivers hanging up their keys because of the CPC, which is likely to cause a driver shortage. The CPC must be scrapped now.
