Petition UK should intervene to protect civilians in Libya
More details
The United Kingdom had a leading role in the removal of Col Gaddafi following the uprising in February 2011.
Libya was left with a weak central government, this has led to the development of war militias.
For the last two weeks there has been an infighting between these militias which has led to the death of more than 50 people and a wave of refugees to neighbouring countries.
I believe the UK has both ethical and humanitarian reasons why it should intervene.
