Every day we hear about yet more multiple fraudulent welfare benefit claims - usually being made by astute business people of Asian descent. Fingerprint checking technology is extremely cheap and would enable immediate recognition of attempts to make duplicate criminal claims. There is no reason for this not to be introduced to protect the taxpayer.
