To at least curtail the amount of cycle rides/races going through the centre of London and major arterial roads,3 in 2014 so far these have a big impact on the ability of tens of thousands of Londoners to get to and from as well as do their daily work,and at times have literary held people hostage in their own streets with no provision made for access.
