Rejected petition Make providing a Gluten Free food option compulsory

Restaurants and food outlets are improving when it comes to providing Gluten Free food options on their menus/shelves, but Coeliacs and Gluten Free allergy sufferers still struggle in certain places.

I'm campaigning for it to be made compulsory to have gluten free food on every menu and service in England/UK. This means a main meal portion, not just biscuits and cakes which don't make a good lunch.

This covers every Restaurant, Cafe, Mobile food unit, Caterer (including buffet providers) and food stockists.

It's relatively easy for Vegetarians to eat in most places these days, so Gluten Free allergy sufferers should be the same!
