His retention of those profits are a fraud on the taxpayer who had no choice but to pay the mortgage interest charges because he was an elected Member of Parliament. He planned this move from the start and arranged, as he did, to use the profit generated at taxpayer expense to purchase a dwelling he could not otherwise have afforded, unlawfully conspiring with others to perpetrate a loss of hundreds of thousands to the taxpayer, which should now be recouped.
